Time and me…!!!

The time spent is the time I can never forget and I will never forget, for the fuel it provides to my will to make me do what I want to.

Every time in life carries a meaning and this one has in mines. Belief this is, with which I am spending these precious months of my life.

Something awaits me something I know and I am destined to burn before I can meet it. So let it be and let me burn for once burnt I will have no fear to get re-burned.

Hope is what I have to get the time to pass and pass it will for else I have no other option.

I wait for the right moment, the moment that will be mine, when every act performed will turn into a magnificent touch.

A spell will be manifested that will astound the observer not by the sheer magic which he will see but by the impact that such a magic will make on his life.

I wait for the time to come to make me see what I am destined to be.

The time is tough but tough times are the greatest teacher.

The teacher got to teach me something and I will never forget the lesson learnt by such a great one.

Not partial in its judgment neither do it discriminates between races. It gives what need to be given; ruthlessness to the uncouth and peacefulness to the peaceful.

Time has given me the pain and time it is that will pacify it.

I have to stand firm while the storm gathered passes.

I need to save all might for I will need it in times to come- the time when I have to rebuilt, the time when I have to work with every bit of energy in my body to lead to the destiny which awaits me.

They say time changes but does it really change. The change is in us and it is us who make the time change.

“The Greatest Warrior”

Hold on ma friend don’t let go of now,

You have done the needful and have enough chow (provisions).

The moment present is one to be relished not to worry,

As the time has come to fly but remember not in a hurry.

I know you will sail gallantly through the high tide

For no tide can stubble the path on which you ride

You have learnt the art to survive in the ocean

Pond, lakes, river oh! They all have become just a small portion.

Worry not ma friends worry not

Hold your reins tight and take the shot.

You will hit the target and hit it with a chill

For you have every skill to make the necessary kill.

Me…!!!

When no one comes to rescue remember “me”

When nothing remains in control remember “me”

When things go wrong or awry remember “me”

When you fail to succeed despite trying remember “me”

When you lie down, unable to move remember “me”

When you take the last few breath of you life remember “me”

 For “Me” is The Hope……..

Hope that someone will come to rescue,

Hope that everything will get under control,

Hope that things will get right,

Hope that you will succeed some day,

Hope that you will walk once again on your own,

Hope that you will live to see one more day

Hope that this “me” will not die.

You Think It…!!!

If you think it’s worth chasing chase it
If you think it’s worth facing face it
If you think it’s worth winning than win it
For the rules of the games are same, you think it….

If you think action is required act
If you think deception is required deceive
If you think nothing is required do nothing
For the world lies in you, you think it…

If you think it’s right it is right
If you think it’s wrong it is wrong
If you thing it’s oblivious it is oblivious
For you are the one who bore it, you think it….

The Day Huloo Rode to Hampi on a Bullock Cart…!!!

1: He is so kind hearted that he gave lift to an old women on his way to Vijaynagara Empire. The outcome, it took him 3 hours 45 minutes and 34.5 seconds to reach his destination for only he cared for the women else his Bail Gadi could have even defeated the motor cycle in a race.

2: The hungry Huloo after hours of hard work thought of nothing else but food. He went straight to a dhaba to have his lunch. But destiny it was that here as well a surprise was waiting for him. By the way the food in the pic was really delicious and the spinach was ossom.

And the surprise was………. The cook…!!!

3: The food in the second pic was cooked by Mr. huloo himself as he lost all his money while his long three hours journey. Thanks to Mr. Ranju (the restaurant owner) who let him prepare his food provided he will do a favor for him. Don’t think much about the favor it was a simple one…

4: Cleaning the Dishes… :( . So he cleaned all and cleaned it so well that the owner was damn impressed.

5: Impressed by him the owner became his friend and made him his marketing manager. So Mr. Huloo became the marketing manager of Ranju ka dhaba..

6: However, Mr. Huloo is a flier and yes he flied from the dhaba business just after half an hour as he was to search for his true destiny. Destiny it was that he after an hour faced his new profession. Huloo the shepherd….

fish7: Sheperd was a tough business to be in and Huloo was not fully satisfied by the way so many goats were being handled. He tried to suggest some goat management which he learned during his MBA to the leader and was knocked off. Disdained by his rejection he left the group and held to catch a new one. This time was to be a macchhiwala…

So he became a fish wala and started to catch fish sitting beside the Tunga Bhadra river.

fish2He was successful in catching a fish just in 15 minutes as seen in the pic. Now don’t think about the man catching it, huloo let him enjoy his first catch.

But seeing the harmless fish struggling for its life, Huloos heart went in pain and he decided not to carry fishing as a profession.

8: Fed up with the change in profession he sat down near the river and started to enjoy the view. Sharp his brain was that as he saw the green coconut trees leaves flurrying with the wind, he at once got a new idea: this time a Coconot wala…cooc

9: But he is a flier and yet he flied and this time straight back to Home where his old profession in MSPL awaited for him with the next morning to come.

The Dream…

The feet touching the slow moving water made a splashing sound

A rhythm generated, one unheard of was indispensable to relent

The bird chirpings adding to the melody made me grow astound

Sitting at the Tungabhadra river bank I dreamt and dreamt and dreamt….

The dusk grew into an enchantment

Casting a spell that no magician could have ever done

The power it infused in me of such a magnum

No object could have made my dream shunt

I dreamt of a river that never stops flowing

Making its way through the hilly terrain all along

The route it took matter the least As the destiny awaited it to get merged in the ocean to which it belong.

I dreamt of a dream that let me dream

Of touching the never ending sky

Oh! It merely seemed two steps away

Waiting to get embraced by me and cry.

Alas! Dream it is only a dream I know it very well

For reality is nothing but a big canyon, the seat of the devils hell.

Oh! Thus I say I am a dreamer to let the devil loose

For the world of dreams have fairies and angels with absence of fear to choose.

Theory of Judgement

We are humans with the distinct feature of cognitive neural response mechanism plus an emotional calibration. We are built to think and think to build new relations wherein we make judgment.”

Making judgment is not wrong. It is in fact a learning process if deployed with the correct set of perspectives and can help in self checking our systems. The only issue which arises here is that we don’t accept the fact that we make judgment. This in turn leads us to think in a wrong direction and leaves no room for the other possibility i.e., what ever we have judged which we feed to our mind as not judging becomes correct and the other possibilities die. Here in enters another creature lying within ourselves what is commonly referred to as ego. The problem of duality enters as soon as this ego of us gets born. We behave in manner that is not characteristic of us and being a social animal living amongst other humans we are being judged by them based on this dual nature of ours. Their judgment on this basis leads them to get a negative impression of our real self which in turn leads to attuning of their behavior towards us. Their behavior becomes one of suspicion which in turn makes us suspicious about them. The cycle of suspicion spurts up leading to a never ending loop. Only if we can feed the mind that we judge others and our judgment have the room of being inconsistence with our neural response system and emotional calibration than can we say we don’t judge others although not in absolute sense but yes in meaning.

It is a natural phenomenon to judge others for we have the ability to differentiate. The real demon in here is the fact that we don’t accept that we judge others and once done that it does not leave us with any room for corrections.

When we say, “I don’t judge others and accept them for what they are” here in as well we make a judgment about what and how people are. But the only difference between this judgment and the other one (which people usually make) is that here in we accept the fact that we are making a judgment which keeps us in harmony with the object which we are judging. This is a process which is not done consciously but happens at the sub conscious level. Acceptance of the fact that we are judging gives us a room for making corrections. “We accept people as they are” shows that we are ready to modify our judgment.

We humans have the distinct ability of differentiating a thing from other. The process of differentiation leads to the development of a human. It provides us with the mot valuable asset called intelligence. The phenomenon of differentiation opens up different choices. Differentiation provides us the power to choose. It gives us the distinction to make a choice. The power to choose helps us to make judgments. We observe the options provided as the result of differentiation and make a judgment abut each choice.

Child Labor

Child Labor, a tern derogatory in its sense to all the years of innocence and the purity of the heart of a child which is possessed by the beloved soul, is none less then being a slave in its own way. The child looses all his gorgeous years of childhood and the age of fantasy where he lives in the world of dreams. Crashing comes his world at once, when the world should have opened up its arms to embrace him, for his fate has been decided by the few who tends to labor him on the field or for a matter of fact anywhere else – he is got to become a labor and labor all his life to earn the daily bread for him and his family.

A child below a certain age level brought down to work and labor in a factory, small scale industry, and cottage industry or even in a small shop etc. falls under the ambit of child labor. The age bar differs from country to country. However, in India the age specified is 14 years. The children in the age group of 1 to 14 are in no position to decide about what is good and what is bad for them, in other words do not have the capacity to take a decision for self. They need to be nourished and polished by providing them appropriate nutritious diet and a sound background in education. They need to be groomed into an individual on whose shoulders will rest the future progress of the nation. The mere exploitation of these children at such a tender age leads to the fall of his physical, mental as well as the spiritual growth. The child not only traverses on the path of uncertainty but also makes himself vulnerable to the evils of the society, a sheer loss, not just of the child but of the nation as well- for no nation can become great if its children are left to the mercy of the fate which is written by the few accumulators of wealth.

The problem of child labor affects the under developed, developing and the so called developed nations of the world and thus covers an entire spectrum. However, the intensity and the magnitude with which it impacts a nation differ. The case in hand for us is our own nation, India. All these years talk of growth being more inclusive has been at the bandwagons of the politician with media not standing far behind by giving these politicians damn lot of attention. How the hell the country is to be growing inclusively when the children of the nations have to take the burden of running it? The fact of the matter is numbers like GDP, per capita income is what people like us, the so called educated class, all care about. Oh! India projected to grow at 7% despite global slowdown is what we all care about and not how the children of our nations are being growing. What we care about is just numbers, numbers and numbers. The insatiable greed to chase the figures has led to backward spiral- forget about the trickle down effect of growth- of deteriorating our future assets; the want-to-be youth of the nation.

There are several causes for the emergence of problem of child labor and the primary among them are illiteracy and poverty. They are the twin problems and the two sides of the same coin, for one complement the other. The concoction of these two matrices/issues leads to the emergence of many other issues, one of which is child labor. A family where the head is illiterate and does not have enough source of finance to feed the little ones, to get the clothes for the wretched bodies and to get a shelter, the survival itself is in question. He does not care about or rather does not have the time to think or know whether his child is a labor or when his child will be 14 then will he allow him to labor. What he knows is that they will not last for their child to become 14, he knows that for his family he needs to labor himself and let his child help him in whatever way possible and he also knows that his child will get exploited but has no other option exist except to let him go and toil hard on the field to win a bread for him and his family without which they will extinct and no one will be there to sing a song for them. No parents want their child to sweat until their own sweat cannot lead them to survival. Thus, if one can see the whole issue of child labor at large in case of India emerges from one base i.e. poverty. The widespread poverty especially in the rural areas, not to forget the urban poor, are the dwelling place for birth of the unfortunate ones who are to be labeled by the society as a child labor in the years to come. The lack of literacy among these groups adds as a double whammy. The huge population under the BPL and the high illiteracy rate has made the issue to grow into a magnum. Moreover, the human greed for more makes the deployment of the child in industries and factories as a service to them and their family and not at all as exploitation. But behind the façade of service is the real face of exploitation of the young ones.
Child labor exist in both organize and unorganized setting, more so in case of unorganized market. To a certain level it can be checked in an organized setting such as an industry set up. However, the unorganized sector where most of the children, as in case of India, are exploited is a tough nut to crack. For instance a child working in a shop next door can always be claimed to be a relative and thus the law cannot tighten its screw on the exploiters. Moreover, the child also agrees to cooperate as he himself cannot see the light of the day. What he can see is the satisfaction of getting two square meals a day. The media can be one tool to expose the exploiters but nevertheless they are too busy with pleasing their own audience and have its own limitations. So what can be the solution to it? The government, its policies, the society and most importantly the shift in the mind set of We- the framer of our constitution.

There is necessary legislation in place such as free and compulsory education for the children below a certain age, laws banning child labor and the Constitution of India itself prohibits any such action which accomplice a child into becoming a labor and much worse into a bonded labor. Despite of all these child labor still exist, why? The reasons are leakages. Leakages in the government machinery to implement the laws with prudence, leakages in the society to accept these acts as a service and leakages in the mind set of the people who think they standing alone can not make any difference or fight for a cause. The call for the moment should not be on what and why but on how to remove the problem at an individual level. We should promise ourselves that we will not act in any manner which makes us a part of the inhuman act of killing the childhood of an infant and we will certainly see a child playing in the garden next to us.

I just completed reading the book. The book is rich and full of insights. The most enjoyable part of the book is the way it has been written and presented to the audience. Any serious reader searching for some of his own inner questions can live the book by entering into the shoes of the protagonist, Jack, and I feel it is the best way to go through the book- to live its character.

A simple story of a man got caught up in the tangles of life, seeking answers to some of the very basic question yet complicated in its own way, Mr. Robin Sharma has done a fabulous crafting by pushing these queries a step further and revealing to remember oneself, which he believes to be the true journey of life
One can live through the experiences if one wants to through the little words of great wisdom well presented in this book. The story is lead by the three men of great character; Father Mike, Surfer Moe and the CEO Tess. They are the life coach of Jack who on the behest of his father Cal are assisting him to learn the art of blissful living. They each spend 4 weeks with Jack and leads Jack into the path of self discovery.

Father Mike gives Jack his first lesson essentially about how to conduct one’s life amidst the city of Love, Rome. He speaks about the Stained glass window through which one looks at the world. Every one of us has our own stained glass pane. We see the world as we are is the hidden wisdom in the stained glass window. Remove the glass and the whole world becomes a new place to live. Strive to live at the best in conformity with the laws of nature. This universe is a better place and everything is planned for us is the wisdom which the Great Saint, Mike share with the bewildered Jack. Truly a piece of learning, once experienced one can be aware of the power center it creates in oneself.

The second personality whom Jack meets is the fun loving character of The Surfer Mike who has left his old hectic advertising career and is living in a beach under the sky in Hawaii. He is the master of the art of living in one’s heart. The second question presented to Jack, how to live in ones heart is to be answered by this mysterious man. He brings Jack in face to face with the reality that the person who can not love himself can not love any one else. He also informs him that most of the times we humans tend to live in our mind. Our mind is all powerful but our heart is the place where we can get the answers to the queries which our mind cannot generate. So you see the relevance of the art of living in one’s heart. At least I could see it don’t know about you. He speaks to Jack about the clarity of vision which one can get through looking in ones heart as quoted “The clarity of vision comes by living in ones heart. Who looks outside is a fool. Who looks inside awakens.”

The third and the final guru of Jack is a well acclaimed and a successful leader of a self built brokerage firm in New York. Her name is Tess and she likes to be called C.L.O (Chief Love Officer) in place of CEO. She contributes to the philosophical discourse which Jack has been through by adding a business perspective to it. She tells Jack how can companies become great and what is that differentiate a successful business from not so one. Delivering value to your customers and serving them with the true sense of service without looking for personal gains is the mantra as told by her to Jack. She also gives Jack a perspective about the way one should look at the competition. Here she teaches her one of the most important lesson of “Win does not necessary leads to loosing”. The abundance theory is well picked and clicks at the right point at the right time.

All in all a good book to read only if you are looking for your questions to be answered. TRUST me as it is trust only that helps you take the first step.
